Greek-born Nina Dipla is a dancer-actor-choreographer and teacher.
Member of the Folkwang Tanzstudio, she worked with Pina Bausch as a performer in the RITE OF SPRING as well as with the choreographers and directors, Tadashi Suzuki, Theodoros Terzopoulos, Valery Fokin, Susane Linke, Malou Airaudo, Raffaella Giordano, Rainer Behr, Luc Besson…
At Pina Bausch’s request, she became assistant choreographer at Tanztheater Wuppertal for the revival of Tannhäuser.
As a performer and choreographer, she currently works with the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, Roland Auzet, Laurent Gaudé, Melody Mourey, Sébastien Kheroufi
Performing with Elodie Bouchez and Lolita Chammah in Isild Le Besco’s play S’aimer quand même, Nina is also a trainer for the Ateliers Varan (documentary film and camera in motion).
Since 2014, she has been producing collective creations in the world, which she sees as encounters that “transcend borders, cultures or religions”. Nina has developed her own artistic and pedagogical universe nourished by her in-depth practice of dance, yoga and martial arts such as Aikido and Tai-chi.
She teaches not only professional dancers at prestigious schools such as choreographic centers, universities, and national conservatories, but also actors and musicians, as well as amateurs curious about physical and artistic exploration.
She is currently collaborating with director Sébastien Kheroufi on the play La mort du Môme, which will be presented at La Colline (Fall Festival 2026).
